Equipment :

Gîtes are furnished and equipped for the number of people shown in the description. You need only bring your own bed linen, towels and household linen. Some owners offer bed linen hire.

Inventory/state of repair statement :

An inventory/state of repair statement is drawn up and signed by the tenant & the owner (or his representative). It constitutes the only reference if a dispute arises concerning the inventory/state of repair. Tenants are responsible for cleaning the gîte. N.B. if you do not wish to do the cleaning, some owners offer a fixed fee for cleaning (see individual gîte descriptions).

Damage deposit, charges, pets :

Damage deposit : Damage deposit: the amount can vary, depending on the capacity and type of accommodation. The minimum amount for a rural gîte is 150 €uros.

Charges :

Provision of water is included in your rent, as is the use of 8 KWH of electricity per day. Heating is charged extra and should be paid to the owner at the end of your stay.

Pets :

Pets are welcome in some gîtes. Remember to let people know when you make your booking that you are bringing a pet.

Telephone :

To use the telephone in gîtes with a Téléséjour phone, you need to buy the appropriate card from a branch of France Télécom in your own department (i.e. you need to live in France & have a fixed line phone in your home). Some owners offer mobile phones.
