You are planning to buy a house to convert into tourist accommodation and you want to find out about joining the Gîtes de France network.

The Gîtes de France ‘Guide du Créateur’ (a down-loadable .pdf file that applies to the whole of France) and the specific Cantal technical files (list of down-loadable .pdf files: natural campsite, classified campsite, non-classified campsite, guesthouse (B&B), stop-over and group gîtes, rural gîtes, children’s gîtes, holiday villages) contain all the information you need to open your own Gîtes de France property.

Your project may well qualify for a special grant (funded by the Cantal Conseil Général, the Auvergne Conseil Régional and Europe).
